Jointly presented by The Stewardship Alliance and The Center for Biblical Stewardship at Southwestern, the Life Stewardship Institute™ began to prepare professional advisors (in the areas of legal, financial, tax), educators, Christian counselors, pastors, many other non-profit leaders, including their advancement and development personnel, in the area of steward leadership, activists who embrace the concept of stewardship of the whole-of life.

As a result, professional advisors and non profit leaders of numerous organizations have come to share an expanded view of their roles in the lives of God’s people, as well as a recognition of the enhanced Kingdom service that they together can provide to the donors of their non-profit organizations.

The understanding gained by all in the area of steward leadership has produced a synergy* that produces Kingdom Impact in the lives of those we serve.

* Synergy, in general, may be defined as two or more agents working together to produce a result not obtainable by any of the agents independently; [noun] a mutually advantageous conjunction of distinct elements

PREPARATION

Dr. Scott M. Preissler, Director of the Center for Biblical Stewardship at Southwestern, and Professor and Chair of the Department of Stewardship at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, serves as Dean of the Life Stewardship Institute™.
